Product I found was well made and enjoyable. I paint for fun as a side hobby and wanted to do something where I didn’t have to make my own thing, and paint by numbers was a nice little relaxing “turn off the brain and just have fun” sort of thing I was looking for. I painted most of this while listening to podcasts. Now, since I do paint and own a bunch of paints on the side, I didn’t exclusively use the paint given to me. I also added a few drops of liquitex pouring medium into some of the colours to smooth them out a little. The paint is very thick and chunky for some colours.I would, however say that generally the paint is good on it’s own. I didn’t use the black or white provided, though, using my own for that as there was quite a lot of black portion on it and I wanted to make sure to have good coverage. I found that number 17 they gave me was quite thin, and needed many coats to cover the numbers on the canvas, and even then I was never really happy with the coverage. I decided to add a small amount of brown to it from my own paints to thicken it up a little.I would say though, that if painting isn’t something you do often and you just want something fun to do, go for it! It’s a lot of fun for the price point and I will be ordering another one. 😀

I recently did a group pallet painting class and wanted something to do on my own that wasn’t watercolor (or expensive) and found this! This painting took almost 2 weeks to do, but it was worth it! I ended up buying two different brushes for more of my personal taste but that would be one of my only suggestions! Don’t be afraid to use more paint than you think you need. There’s plenty of it! Turned out really nice and it’s something I’m really proud of! If you have anxiety like I do, play your favorite anime in the background and focus your energy on something outside of yourself! 🙂
You have to have a steady hand . Thousands of tiny of small pieces to paint. Love the painting.
