Project with my grandchildren. 8 years and 13 years. We are all doing one and is fun.
Product I found was well made and enjoyable. I paint for fun as a side hobby and wanted to do something where I didn’t have to make my own thing, and paint by numbers was a nice little relaxing “turn off the brain and just have fun” sort of thing I was looking for. I painted most of this while listening to podcasts. Now, since I do paint and own a bunch of paints on the side, I didn’t exclusively use the paint given to me. I also added a few drops of liquitex pouring medium into some of the colours to smooth them out a little. The paint is very thick and chunky for some colours.I would, however say that generally the paint is good on it’s own. I didn’t use the black or white provided, though, using my own for that as there was quite a lot of black portion on it and I wanted to make sure to have good coverage. I found that number 17 they gave me was quite thin, and needed many coats to cover the numbers on the canvas, and even then I was never really happy with the coverage. I decided to add a small amount of brown to it from my own paints to thicken it up a little.I would say though, that if painting isn’t something you do often and you just want something fun to do, go for it! It’s a lot of fun for the price point and I will be ordering another one. 😀
It was bigger than I expected, so if you’re planning to hang it, look at it’s dimensions!! Anyways I loved it and just bought a new one from a different company I think. I’m also thinking about getting my friends custom ones for Christmas!!

This is my first paint by number and I must say a real challenge. But not one I can’t reach! With time and patience I will turn out a masterpiece! Not for a young child but for an adult beginner. It is very fine,challenging work but very satisfying when just completing one color or number. Each day shows a new picture. Well worth a try.
