What’s in the kit?
All our Paint By Numbers Kits include the same four things:
Finely woven linen-blend canvas
16″ × 20″ / 40 × 50 cm, printed with the numbered outline, ready to paint.
3× artist paint brushes
Fine, medium and broad tips for detail and fill.
Pre-mixed acrylic-based paint set
Numbered pots, no mixing needed: open the pot and paint.
Colors Card
Match each number on the canvas to its pot.
First-time painter? Start here.
Everything you need to know before pot one, in about two minutes.
- Lay it all out. Canvas, 3 brushes, pre-mixed paints and the Colors Card: that is the whole kit.
- Read the Colors Card first. Every pot has a number; every number appears on the canvas. Match, then paint.
- Work big areas first. Fill the sky and background, then come back for the fine details.
- Dry paints? Add 1–2 drops of water and mix gently. Still unusable, or a pot missing? Contact us and we’ll send a replacement. We’ve got you!
- Budget about 6–12 hours for a 16×20 in canvas. It is a calm, spread-out project, not a race.
- Paints are acrylic, water-based, non-toxic and low-odor: safe for home use and easy to clean with water while wet.
How it works: three steps, one finished painting
1
Match the number
Each area of the canvas carries a number that maps to one paint pot.
2
Fill the area
Paint the flat colour inside the outline. Edges stay crisp because the lines are printed on the canvas.
3
Frame it
Let it dry, then hang it. A 16×20 in frame fits exactly; see our DIY Wooden Frame.
Time guide: 16×20 in usually takes 6–12 hours
Materials: what the paint and canvas are actually like
Acrylic, water-based
Non-toxic and low-odor: safe for home use.
Dry pots are fixable
Add 1–2 drops of water and mix gently.
Easy clean-up
Cleans with water while wet, so no solvents.

It’s a great item. Cant wait to get started
Super cute date idea or even as a gift! It is easy to prep and paint, and it’s such a pretty out one!
Gift for granddaughter who is 9. She enjoyed it.
It took me a long time to complete this painting. It did come out OK. Some areas were missing numbers too.
We just received and it’s a Christmas present so we haven’t tried it yet. Looking forward to seeing how my daughter likes it.
